Since Ventura Events was established by founder Ashley Palmier we have strived to give people of all ages the opportunity to experience the magnificence of our planet’s wildlife, whilst contributing towards global conservation efforts in a number of ways.

Ventura Events is one of the leading providers of animal encounters in England, using animals kept at Ventura Gardens (our private animal collection based on the outskirts of North London). Currently we maintain and care for over 45 different species of animals that include many exotic invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Of course not all of the species we keep are used for animal encounters and a number of them are part of important captive breeding programmes to ensure the long term survival of many species.

Since our beginnings Ventura Events has developed to include; our hugely successful wildlife events and our breathtaking wildlife travel opportunities to a variety of wildlife destinations both in the UK and around the globe. Ventura Events also offers a wide range of zoo experiences, animal days out and animal sponsorship packages.

Built on our knowledge of the zoo industry Ventura Events provides a range of zoo consultancy options ranging from marketing and management assistance through to animal enclosure design and animal acquisitions at affordable rates. To date we have provided consultancy to a number of private collections, zoos, local councils and even presidents!!!

The Ventura Events brand has also become recognised as providing the highest levels of quality and professionalism. All our team have all the relevant qualifications and we hold the necessary insurances, licences and certificates to allow us to operate. We are a proud member of the International Zoo Educators Association (IZE) and we work closely with a number of good zoos around the world.

All of us at Ventura Events are extremely proud of what we continue to achieve as we help to raise important awareness and funds for some of the world’s most fragile species. To date, thanks to your support we have been able to support numerous in-situ and ex-situ conservation projects and wildlife organisations. Some of the conservation projects we have supported to date include those protecting the parrot species of South America & Indonesia, European carnivores, African vultures, as well as big cat and ape species. We hope to provide increased support for conservation during 2012 through Ventura Wildlife Conservation Fund.
