Visitors Amazed as Businesses Go Wild for Conservation
Ventura Events and Photographic Synergy based in London Colney, Hertfordshire recently joined forces with David Lloyd Leisure Centres in Enfield and Kidbrooke to create an unforgettable weekend.
Club members were left amazed as they came face to face with our lizards, snakes, tortoises, owls, skunks and even a meerkat. A team from Photographic Synergy offered guests the opportunity to capture this unusual animal encounter on camera. Guests were not charged for this wild experience, instead a donation was suggested to raise funds for Ventura Conservation, our small charity devoted to real life wildlife conservation projects around the world.

The two day event managed to raise a combined total of £250 for Ventura Conservation to continue with their latest project, which includes a breeding programme in conjunction with the University of Chester to ensure the survival of the black-cheeked lovebird, one of Africa’s most endangered parrots. Ashley Palmier Director of Ventura Events said; “We are delighted to have teamed up with like minded businesses to help raise funds and awareness on a local level for worldwide wildlife conservation, something which is all too easily forgotten in the hustle and bustle of daily life”.
